Earth Tongue – May 1st – 5th 2019
Earth tongue is an invitation to step into the nourishing darkness to restore our connection with body, soul and earth. A journey through inner and outer wilderness to remember the sacred continuum of which we are a part. Nature is not something out there. An object. Rather we are Nature. No matter how frayed or forgotten that truth may have become or how estranged we may feel from our inner nature, we can return that magnificent animal we call a human being back into accord with our deepest wisdom and purpose and our place in the world.
Earth Tongue draws from the rivers of indigenous wisdom, depth psychology, perennial philosophy, shamanic practices and deep ecology. We will work with each other and with ourselves through the resources of somatic movement, silence, vigil, dreamtime, fasting as well as feasting and the ancient ritual ceremony of the sweat lodge.
This is a 5 day immersive retreat for women. It takes place solely outdoors on the land. There are only 8 places available so early application is advised. Retreat price £500. A non refundable deposit of £200 secures your place. All meals included. There is one bursary place offered.
